Frequently Asked Questions

Opus PlasmaTM Laser

How does this work?

The Opus Plasma™ operates at a high frequency of over 40 MHz, charging the metal pins on its tips to a high RF voltage. This creates tiny channels in the skin that jumpstart your natural collagen production through a wound-healing response. Kind of like microneedling, but this technique uses microplasma technology which is the first of its kind. Also, not to be confused with strictly plasma devices, the Opus Plasma™ combines RF with microplasma energy which allows your skincare needs to be addressed more effectively. Plus the downtime is far less compared to other skin resurfacing solutions. We’re obsessed!

What can I expect?

The Opus Plasma™ has adjustable settings—from light, moderate to deep—making it a super versatile resurfacing option for your skin. The length of treatment will depend on your personal skincare goals, but overall the Opus Plasma™ takes just between 15-30 minutes. This highly effective treatment is a step above any other laser treatments out there, so you’ll see amazing results with a much shorter post-treatment downtime.

How often should I get this service?

Many of you may require a package of treatments to achieve the best results you want, so let’s chat before the treatment to make sure your skincare needs are understood. We typically recommend 2-3 sessions for best results, but you’ll probably see noticeable results after your first treatment!

Opus PlasmaTM Laser

Does it hurt?

The Opus Plasma™ is tolerable to most, and we use a topical anesthetic to make sure you feel really comfortable. Due to its state-of-the-art technology, most clients experience drastically less downtime versus other laser treatments. You can expect about 1-2 days of redness and swelling, but you can generally return to your regular day immediately after the treatment.
